This position will be based in Solna, Stockholm and will require an office presence. You will report directly to the Global Capacity Director. Brand Capacity Manager – Tierra Brand is a parental leave cover. ABOUT THE ROLE This position belongs to the team working to ensure global capacity and will be working in close cooperation with both our brands at 50% and the other centralized production and sourcing teams at 50%. Key responsibilities: Tierra Brand – Product development Coordination between brand and central org when it comes to Care labels, fabric development, fabric sourcing, trims sourcing, product content, fabric testing, and PPS follow up Pre-production sample (PPS) handover – new styles Responsible for follow-up Tierra RAW material stock Booking fabric for Proto sampling Follow up SaP timeline, and secure that Tierra follows this timeline CSR contact in Tierra – Trustrace, GRI, Higg, etc. Costing on Brand level -Prices, cost, forecasting Secure Brand Ethos and Contact Point between sourcing team and brand Represent the Brand and Sourcing in various actions needed to deliver best-in-class products and quality Support the brand’s development of products both from a material and vendor point of view Connection to the material team for fabric development according to brand needs Manage long-term commitments directly with the brand Oversee performance metrics both from brand and centralized Guide brands, design, and production to reach the best quality materials, vendor selection, and Average Unit Cost targets within the master process timelines Manage plan/placed with steering the product development to the right mills and factories in tandem with Product, Design, and Production Ensure tracking and execution of key product styles against vendor capacity plans and identify shortfalls or additional demand Analyze and hindsight prior season’s order AUC, volumes, and performance scorecard to partner with the Product team in achieving strategic business plans Management of ad-hoc projects that drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and connectivity Suggests and executes process improvements as needed Participate in key projects to evolve supply chain capabilities WHO YOU ARE Requirements: Bachelors’ degree 4+ years experienced in Product Development and Production planning Experience from positions within targeted brands is a plus Experience from positions within the outdoor industry is a plus Good fabric and material knowledge Making production and fitting experience Costing knowledge Fluent in English Great communication and excel skills ABOUT THE NEW ORGANIZATION We are now creating a single textile sourcing and production function to support the textile brands with joint structure and processes.
