About Petli

Petli is on a mission to help dog parents become their dog’s best friend. Our aim is to make dog life a bliss,save dog parents both headaches, time and money. We do so by centralizing and validating information, introducing science and dog knowledge in a gamified, easy to grasp and fun app format. We are an ambitious and dedicated team of dog and tech lovers striving to enrich the lives of dogs and their fellow humans.

Since December 2021, we are backed by some of Sweden’s most renowned investors: Jacob de Geer (iZettle), Patrick Söderlund (EA, Dice, Embark Studios) and Hjalmar Winbladh (EQT Ventures). They are helping us on our mission to bring a top-notch dog app to a global market.

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer who will shape the technical foundation of the Petli app. 

Ideal candidate:

  • You are very interested in mobile or web development and know basics of programming

  • You are familiar or willing to learn Flutter & Dart

  • Extra plus if you have an eye for design and have worked with Figma or similar tools

  • You are passionate about the quality of the software you design and deliver

  • You pay attention to details

  • You are not afraid to speak up

  • Extra plus if you love dogs

 

You will be working with:

  • You, along with other team members, will design and implement new features from ground up and drive improvements and innovations

  • You will primarily work with the frontend: our mobile app and back office

  • You don’t need to have experience within our tech stack, but you must be willing to learn with the help of our team and on your own

You will be joining a closely knitted and super performant tech team that:

We are a team of seven productive, curious and positive minded dog and tech lovers. Our company culture is fun, challenging, healthy and diverse. We strongly believe that diversity is key to optimize problem solving. Different backgrounds and experiences enrich us as a team, especially when facing challenges needing creative solutions. We see problems as possibilities to challenge each other and find the best way forward.

Most of us at Petli love the outdoors, sports, and gaming. Some of us have a dog. Together we not only work for the sake of dogs, we let them inspire us. In a dog pack everyone is of value, sticks together and helps each other out. At Petli we believe that having fun together creates a healthy and productive company culture where everyone matters. We work hard, but above all we prioritize and value health. And we look out for each other. That’s the way of the dog, so that’s the way of Petli.
