Are you our next leader as Head of Marketing & Sales at the business unit Radar Solutions?

Your role As Head of Marketing & Sales Surface based Radars you are leading a sales team of around 10 persons, with the objective and responsibility to secure contracts over the entire life cycle of our surface radar products. Together with your team, you will define capture strategies to reach the agreed Order Intake targets and overall profitable business.

You will work closely with the head and staff of the Product Unit Surface Radars to secure a profitable and balanced product portfolio As a member of the Marketing & Sales Management Team you will define our market strategies and support the Product Units with market input for product road maps and strategies.

You are expected not only to work with your individual area of responsibility, being a member of the management team also means that you interact and take part in other units’ challenges and the overall work with processes, tools and ways of working within the Marketing and Sales organisation. Your profile We are looking for a person with strong business understanding, excellent leadership skills and the ability to empower employees.

As a manager you will demonstrate communicative leadership skills in order to create commitment and energy within the organization. Your ability to establish a performance driven culture within your unit will be of outmost importance. As a leader, you have the ability to organize, prioritize and delegate and you know the importance of building cross functional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

What you will be a part of Business area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and command and control solutions. Business unit Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab’s ground-based and naval surface radar systems, as well as airborne surveillance solutions and fighter radar. The business unit is also responsible for missile datalinks and missile microwave electronics. The unit has around 1500 employees and offices around the world, with the largest sites being Gothenburg and Syracuse. The Marketing and Sales Organization is responsible, not only for the order intake and business development related to the portfolio, but also as stakeholder for marketing communication to support sales efforts and ensure global consistency with regard to product messages. All sales representatives work in close cooperation with the different Product Units within the BU and other BA/BUs as well as the Saab Global Market Organization. The everyday work also includes cooperation and dialogue with different government entities.
