About this opportunity In Ericsson, we have one of the world’s largest enterprise deployments of Microsoft 365 services. We have 100 000+ colleagues using these services globally from across 120+ countries. The usage of our key collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Outlook sky-rocketed since the onset of the pandemic. Our tools have played a significant role to enable safe and secure collaboration for our colleagues globally during the pandemic and are helping Ericsson transition into hybrid working. As a result, the business demands around Microsoft 365 services have also grown rapidly. We have high business demands from multi-functional teams to integrate cross-capabilities from various backend applications into Microsoft 365 suite and to guide our business stakeholders to do it the right way. These could be capabilities developed in house or available in the marketplace and need to be deployed to our services like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Office apps etc. Similarly, we see a huge interest from our business groups and power users to use our low code Microsoft Power Platform to automate their business workflows and processes. We value relationships with our stakeholders, where our commitment, accountability and brand are strong. It is important for us to implement their needs in a compliant and structured manner and in alignment to our strategic priorities. So, we are looking for a Business Engagement Manager to strengthen our IT Productivity & Collaboration team. This role will bring to the team a sound intuition for business, good communication and analytical capabilities to advise the multi-functional teams and business users on the right use cases for integration, ensure proper success criteria, clear expectations, operating structure and alignment across stakeholder groups internal and external. We would like to see a person in this role who is driven, structured and self-going with superb communication and networking skills. In this role, you will be a key player in continuously developing strategic relationships, creating and sharing our success stories and ensuring high business satisfaction through delivery. Apart from the business stakeholders, you will work in close collaboration with our scrum team comprising of ICT Technical Product Managers, ICT Architects, ICT Delivery Managers, and other key members to strengthen the planning and governance across engagements and enable our roadmap and investment decisions. What you will do A day in the life of Ericsson user has immense interaction with collaboration tools from M365. Teams is the hub for individual and partnership, SharePoint and OneDrive enable secure collaboration and sharing of information, Yammer enables employee engagement and Email is the most preferred channel for corporate communications. It may sound incredible, but in a single day at Ericsson: 15 million emails are received, 1 million emails are sent, 150K calls and meetings take place, 4 million chat messages are sent, and 5 TB of data is saved to OneDrive. We are the team that enabled safe and secure collaboration for our colleagues globally during the pandemic and are helping Ericsson transition into hybrid working. We are the team that runs the M365 services at Ericsson, navigate what capabilities should be released when and makes sure that they live up to our high compliance standards. You have the required functional knowledge of the Microsoft 365 services to act as an advisor to our business while doing the business case assessment. You have a sound techno- functional background and demonstrable track record in mentoring colleagues and executing projects that required cross-teams collaboration. You also have proven ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for integration solutions. Your responsibilities are further summarized as below: Be the link between Business and IT, related to the M365 projects Communicate project progress to IT and Business stakeholders Collect demands, make business cases and facilitate implementation decisions Be part of the ongoing strategy work to strengthen our visibility Build operational excellence and enable us to be a true partner to the business Drive/enforce process standardization Develop OKRs and measure the business impact of various initiatives Manage adoption activities of implemented solutions across Ericsson Focus on business growth and investments Ensure savings opportunities are identified and worked to ensure cost optimization Translate business needs into requirements and manage them together with the Project and DevOps team Safeguard our applications and platform from unwarranted integrations & solutions Document and maintain the details for each implementation towards M365 services Work with external partners and suppliers to ensure accountability and success Education: Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or IT Key Qualifications: 8+ years industrial experience, with good understanding of various roles and processes within IT Architecture Domain experience: Minimum 3 years working with Microsoft collaboration application & services with experience in: Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and the M365 suite of applications Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and work with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and deliver results in an ambiguous and dynamic environment Strong influencing- and change agent skills, with very good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills You will have a natural deep interest in technology, especially emerging trends, and will be able to articulate the impact of these trends on business models You need to be fluent in English.
