Do you want to lead excellence around how to optimise our assortment, distribution, promotional investment for both Arla and the category by channel and customer? Do you have an interest in data insights and take databased decision into actions, working with all different digital solutions? This is a multi-disciplinary strategic role, where you will work across the organisation with stakeholders across sales and marketing to ensure we execute the marketing mix brilliantly. Reporting to the Customer Marketing Director, you will be a pivotal player in developing the short – and longer term direction around how Arla will execute shopper based, category initiatives in our customers. Your team will be responsible for translating category strategies into execution plans and developing toolkits around right range, space, price/promotions, layouts for the customer category teams to tailor for their specific customers and sales program. Your team will also be the experts in how to drive Dairy growth across all channels/formats, and you will set the direction around how Arla can maximise its growth across Retail channels, Convenience, E-comm, Discounters as well as emerging channels. About the role Key Responsibilities: Define clear growth opportunities how to grow Dairy and where Arla can play across channels Retail, E-Comm, Discounters and Convenience to unlock short and long term growth Ensure we have toolkits around right range, space, display layouts, price, promo, pack sizes across all categories/channels that enable Arla to practically unlock growth in our customers Ensure we have customer and field sales execution plans from each of the category strategies that enable us to execute a compelling growth driving category story for our customers Develop commercial Go-To-Market plans for new product launches, in- and output within internal processes Generate Arla’s promotional guidelines for key brands ensuring ROI is maximised alongside shopper and category impact. Coach and develop a team of leaders to create a team of engaged colleagues and help establish the function as a hot bed for talent. Who are you? You have approx 10 years FMCG Experience in senior commercial roles in sales/category/marketing You are fully conversant in all data sets – Nielsen/GFK/other shopper research Previous experience as a people manager is a must We are looking for a true leader who leads the change – not waiting to be led, and you are capable of creating your own direction and building commitment internally and externally. You are comfortable with change and ambiguity and actively seeks it out with a shopper lens. You have a strategic mind set who makes connections in data and insights and who is results driven with extensive commercial experience. High Performance & Growth Mindset is key in this role.
